Hi I’m Sarah, a Design Lead with a multidisciplinary background and over 13 years of experience leading the delivery of successful business outcomes through digital product.

Curious and inspired by diversity of experience, I have sought out a wide range of technologies and industries to engage with throughout my career. This has helped me become an agile and confident designer, able to shape and deliver programs of work that honour contextual nuance while adhering to best practice, and maintaining strategic focus.

As a design leader, I strive to be inspiring, empathetic and tuned in. I’m intrinsically motivated to serve my team - facilitating growth and progression to the greatest of my capacity.

What carved out my path as a designer?

I grew up as a 3rd culture kid; being Australian but living in Nepal, Laos and Thailand due to my dad’s work in environmental sustainability and regeneration.

At a young age, I learned to adapt and tune into diverse perspectives as I navigated different cultural and social situations. I made sense of the world through my creativity; drawing comics, making movies and writing stories using my quirky imagination.

It therefore seems natural that I would fall into a creative career that places the study of humans at its centre, and fosters innovation by integrating diverse perspectives into its processes. I feel strongly that inclusive, purpose-led design is my calling.
